Too old to be a camper, but not old enough to be a counselor? If you are between 13* and 15 years of age our C.I.T. program is for you!!! Opportunities for CITs in most Camps at Bingemans.

Learn the basics of camp counseling while having fun!! Get a head start on developing important job skills during an active week of learning games and leadership skills. The purpose of this program is to provide qualified teens with the tools and skills necessary to become outstanding camp counselors in the future. For one week, CIT's will assist counselors with the various camps during camp activities. CIT participants will receive a CIT staff shirt that must be worn every day at camp. Individuals must complete the registration form and provide 2 references before being considered for the program. Participants will also be require to complete the CIT training program through Google Classroom. The link to the Google Classroom will be sent to all participants with the newsletters on the Wednesday before camp starts. Limited spaces are available on a weekly basis for this program. CIT's are trained under the guidance of experienced Camp Leaders.

Pre-packaged healthy lunch and morning and afternoon snacks are included daily!

Counselor in Training Program Requirements

Maturity, responsibility, and enthusiasm are critical requirements of candidates for this program. CIT's are expected to adhere to Bingemans' camp code of conduct at all times. Must provide 2-character references.

* For the week of being a CIT you must have reached the age of 13 or not exceeded the age of 15 for that week.

• Full payment is required when registering your child(ren).
• Day Camp fees are non-refundable and individual camp days missed for any reason will not be refunded or credited.
• Tax receipts will be issued automatically by email in January.
• Bingemans does not accept responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen.
