Bingemans Canoe Camp is delivered in partnership with Grand Experiences Outdoor Adventure Company, bringing over 25 years of professional guiding and Paddle Canada–certified instruction to ensure a safe, structured introduction to canoeing. Campers spend half their day on a calm, controlled stretch of the Grand River, learning proper paddling techniques, situational awareness, and essential water safety practices from instructors who specialize in teaching youth. The rest of the day features classic summer fun—mini-golf, games, and time at Big Splash Waterpark (as available).

Water safety is the foundation of this camp. Since its launch in 1999, Canoe Camp has maintained a flawless safety record due to rigorous supervision, low instructor-to-camper ratios, and professional certified guides who prioritize safety at every step. Campers gain hands-on experience in reading river conditions, understanding safe behaviour around water, and responding confidently in on-water situations. By week’s end, they earn a nationally recognized Paddle Canada Canoe Skills Certification—proof of their skills, safety knowledge, and readiness to enjoy the water responsibly.

Registration Fees

• $455.00 per week per child

Campers must be pre-registered before 5:00pm on Wednesday prior to Camp Week. Sorry we cannot accept late registrations.

• The ratio of counselors to children is 1:6 for Grand Canoe Camp plus Canoeing Instructor.
• Full payment is required when registering your child(ren).
• Day Camp fees are non-refundable and individual camp days missed for any reason will not be refunded or credited.
• Tax receipts will be issued automatically by email in January.
• Bingemans does not accept responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen.
