Is there a minimum age requirement?

Bingemans Camping Resort is a family camping resort destination. You must be 25 years of age or older to camp at Bingemans. Families with children under 18 are permitted.


What is the reservation policy? Cancellation policy?

Payment is required in full upon booking. All reservations are subject to a $10 non-refundable reservation fee, plus applicable taxes. This is processed at the time of booking. A $150 security deposit is due upon arrival for all Log Cabins and Container rentals. A $500 security deposit is due upon arrival for our Luxury Container rentals.

For a full refund. You may cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival to receive a full refund. The $10.00 plus HST reservation fee is non-refundable.

For cancellations received 13-7 days prior to your stay, a $25.00 cancellation fee and the $10.00 reservation fee will be applied, per site. The balance will be refunded in the same way in which the payment was made.

No refunds are offered if your site is cancelled after 7 days before your stay.

Bingemans does not have a cancellation policy for inclement weather, and refunds are not applicable.


How do I Purchase Waterpark Passes?

Waterpark passes will be available to purchase at a later date and still receive the camper’s discount.

Bingemans Waterpark does not have a rainy-day policy. Customers must use their own discretion when purchasing passes on days with poor weather conditions.

There are no refunds for any reason and passes are not transferable.

How many people are allowed on a campsite?

You are allowed to have 6 people per site, counting adults and children with a maximum of 4 adults.

If you have more than 4 adults in your group, you will be required to rent an additional site.

Maximum number of people for the following:

  • Log Cabins: 4 people
  • Containers: 5 people
  • Luxury Containers: 2 people

How many tents/trailers am I allowed to have on the campsite?

You are allowed to have two sleeping tents OR one trailer per site. Sleeping tents are not permitted on Log Cabin, Container and Luxury Container sites. One dining tent is permitted.


How many vehicles are allowed per site?

You are allowed one (1) vehicle per site at all times.

If you have an additional vehicle, it requires a parking permit ($8.25 + HST for your stay), and it must be parked in one of our parking lots. No parking pass? You may be subject to your vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.


What are check-in and check-out times?

All Campsites have a 2pm check-in time and 11am check-out time. Luxury Container check-in 3pm and 12pm check-out.

No late checkouts or early check-ins are offered during peak camping season (June 21, 2024 – September 2, 2024).


Can I bring my golf carts/recreational vehicle?

Only Seasonal campers are permitted to have these onsite. Golf carts, go-karts, Doon buggies or any electric or motorized recreational vehicles are NOT permitted in our campground.


How do I check-in to my site if I arrive during the "after hours"?

We are now a gated entry park and no longer have a camping office.

During the off-season, we are staffed from 10am - 5pm daily. No late check-ins are permitted after these hours without prior approval. Please call the Camping office (519-744-1002) to make arrangements.

During the Peak Camping Season (June 21, 2024 - September 2, 2024), if you are planning to arrive after 8pm Sunday-Thursday, or after 9pm Friday and Saturday, we ask that you call us in advance to notify the staff of your late arrival.


Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed on our campsites provided they are always on a leash and cleaned up after. If barking becomes a problem, you may be asked to remove the pet or leave with no refund. We have 2 pet-friendly Log Cabins (2001 & 2002), 3 pet-friendly Containers (1-2-3), and 1 pet-friendly Luxury Container (3000). Pets are permitted inside these cabins ONLY.


What services do campsites offer?

At Bingemans we have a variety of campsites geared for all campers!

Glen No Hook-up Waterview Sites
Located along, or within close proximity, to the Grand River, our no hook-up sites are ideal for those looking for a traditional camping experience tenting.

Glen Electric & Water
Sites offer 15 and 30-amp electrical service, as well as a water hook-up. These sites are approx. 30’ wide x 40’ deep in size and are partially treed. Ideal for tents, pop-up trailers and small travel trailers. For specific site sizes please call the office at 519-744-1002.

Glen Electric
Sites offer 20, 30 or 50-amp electrical service. These sites are approx. 3600 square feet. Most sites can accommodate up to a 40’ trailer. For specific site sizes please call the office at 519-744-1002.

Pull-Through
Sites offer 20, 30 or 50-amp service, as well as a water. These sites are 35’ wide x 70’ deep in size and are partially treed. Ideal for large RV's and trailers.

All sites come with a fire pit and picnic table. The campground also offers an on-site dumping station.


Do you have a store?

No, However, we sell firewood and ice at our new check-in container located at the entrance to the Glen Campground.


What activities are included when I am camping?

When you camp with us, you get complimentary access to our Oasis Pool (please check for hours of operation).

We provide discounted admission to our Campers for Mini Golf, Bowling at Kingpin Bowlounge, and GameworX Arcade at FunworX. Please ask how to purchase these discounted passes.

What is in the cabins and what do I need to bring for my stay?

Our Log Cabins are a 12' x 12' room. Inside we provide a double bed and a single set of bunk beds to sleep four people comfortably. Log Cabins also come equipped with electrical outlets, an overhead light, and a mini fridge. There are no bathroom or kitchen facilities inside; Log Cabins are meant to portray a rustic camping ambience. Each Log Cabin has a covered porch with a picnic table and fire pit.

Our Containers are 16’ x 8’ and sleep five people comfortably with one single over double bunk bed and one single over single bunk bed and feature electrical outlets, a mini fridge, an inside table with 2 chairs, and best of all, air conditioning. A fire pit and picnic table are provided outside.

Note: When staying in our Log Cabins and Containers, you will need to bring bedding supplies (sheets, sleeping bags, pillows) as well as your own cookware (utensils, plates, cups). We also recommend that you bring an outside cooking stove if you plan to be cooking.

Each Log Cabin and Container requires a $150.00 security deposit at the time of check-in. After you check out and the cabin has been checked, your security deposit will be returned to you if no damage or extra cleaning is required. Dogs are NOT permitted inside or on the sites of Log Cabins or Containers unless designated pet-friendly. Your security deposit will not be returned in the event a dog has been present.

Our Luxury Containers are fully equipped with a washroom that has towels, washcloths, shampoo and body wash. The kitchen has a stove/oven, fridge, and microwave. It is stocked with plates, cutlery, mugs, drinking glasses, pots, pans, a toaster, a kettle, and an espresso machine with coffee pods (complimentary). The bed is a pull-out bed that sleeps two (2) only and has sheets, pillows and a comforter. There is a smart TV and Wifi to connect your phone or device to the TV.


Is there Security in the Campground?

Security is not stationed in the campground; however, we do have an after-hours help phone. The number is provided in your welcome package at the time of check-in.


Can I bring firewood?

No, outside firewood is permitted at Bingemans Camping Resort. Transportation of firewood is a common way for invasive species to spread. Specifically, the Asian Long Horned Beetle and the Emerald Ash Borer are both destructive beetles which we do not want at our camping resort. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.


What are quiet times?

Our quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am.

All radios or other noise-producing machinery must be turned off by 11pm. Please be considerate of

your neighbours at all times. If you have visitors, they must depart by 11pm.

Note: Our grounds team mows the lawn starting at 8:30am on various days of the week.


Do you have laundry facilities on site?

Yes, we do. You will find our coin-operated laundry facility located on the Park Map.

Please ask for the code to get into the laundry upon check-in.


Are visitors permitted?

Visitors are permitted to visit from 8am - 11pm. Visitors are required to park in one of our parking lots and walk to your campsite. There is no additional fee for daily visitors. Only 1 vehicle is permitted, per site, at all times.
